Lime and Honey – can help with your runny nose hand in hand.  Simply take one tablespoon of honey and mix it with 3-4 drops of fresh lime juice.  You will then want to add a cup of water to the mixture and warm it up on your stovetop.  Warm the mixture for 5-10 minutes and allow it to cool to a lukewarm temperature before consuming the mixture.  You will be surprised in the effects of this home remedy for your runny nose.  This home remedy also can help if you are having coughing symptoms as well.

Salt and Water – as simple as it may sound, can also aid in your runny nose symptom.  Simply take one cup of warm water and mix 2 tablespoons of salt to it.  You will want to boil it over a stovetop and then inhale the steam produced from the solution.  The steam not only removes secretions but also helps break up mucus and helps to get it out of your body.   This home remedy will greatly reduce your runny nose symptom in little to no time at all.  Repeat this process until your runny nose has taken its course.

Vitamin C – this is a natural anti-histamine that helps stabilize cell membranes and therefore making it harder for a histamine from being released.  Vitamin C also helps in the restoration of your immune system and the functions of your body.  Consuming large amounts of Vitamin C is very beneficial in your quest to clearing up a runny nose.  You can consume Vitamin C through juice form or form the natural fruit itself.  Fruits that are very high in Vitamin C are oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and grapes.  When you are choosing to consume your Vitamin C through juice form makes sure that you are consuming at least 8-10 glasses per day for the best results in relieving your runny nose.

Ginger – can also be used as a home remedy to cure a runny nose.  Ginger not only drains the nose but also helps maintain a normal body temperature if you have a fever associated with your runny nose.  Ginger is used for many types of illnesses and health conditions all due to its natural properties.  Try chewing ginger at least 2-3 times a day and watch your runny nose symptoms subside to nothing. 

Taking A Hot Shower – is also a very good way to cure man common cold symptoms especially those that have to do with any type of congestion such as a runny nose.  What you will want to do is inhale the steam from the hot shower.  The hot steam will unclog your nose and will also help in the fight against viruses that can be causing your runny nose.  You can also add peppermint and menthol to the steam and this also clears and dries out nasal passageways.  Another benefit to using this home remedy is that the steam also clears out your airway making it easier to breath, something that can become difficult when you are battling a runny nose.

Many people around the world suffer from acne daily.  Acne consists of irritating and sometimes even painful pimples that can become present on basically any part of the body.  Most commonly it affects the face and scalp area.  Although many find that they want to rid themselves of acne due to cosmetic reasons others just want the aggravation gone of having to deal with constant pimple flare ups.  There are many ways that people treat acne and most commonly people choose to use the prescription topical cream that a licensed physician prescribes.  However, a lot of people are finding out that the use of natural home remedies work better and are more effective in treating most acne cases. Here are a few of the top home remedies that people have found to clear up and alleviate the hassle of acne quickly and naturally.

Apple Cider Vinegar – can be used to treat common acne problems, this being because vinegar is very acidic.  It has been said that the skin’s pH levels have everything to do with the development of acne.  This means that the more alkaline the skin exhibits, the more it is prone to take on acne.  However, by using apple cider vinegar your pH levels can now be lowered and creates less of an environment for acne to form on your body.  When creating the mixture for your acne you will want to take equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar 50/50.  You then take a clean cloth or towel and soak it into the solution and apply it to the affected areas of skin.  Allow the solution to dry on your skin and repeat the process up to 2-3 times a day.  In no time you will dramatically see your acne flare ups decrease.  The acidity of the apple cider vinegar also helps reduce bacteria that are associated with the formation of acne.

Tea Tree Oil – can also help you in your crusades to getting rid of acne.  Tea tree oil is commonly used for many different skin disorders such as acne.  Tea tree oil distributes properties such as an antifungal, antiviral, and an antiseptic.  Tea tree oil is also very effective in the elimination of the bacteria Staph which can commonly be found on the skin which can also be linked to certain acne cases.  You simply want to make a paste to apply to the area of affected skin.  Taking 1-2 tablespoons of tea tree oil and mixing it with a cup of water can be used to apply to the affected areas of skin.  Leave the mixture on the affected areas of skin for no more than 15-20 minutes.  You will then want to wash your face with antibacterial soap.  Repeat this process 2-3 times a day and you will see results almost instantly and your acne flare up cleared up quicker than you thought.

Toothpaste – as simple as it sounds can also be a very effective cure for acne.  This home remedy can provide you with not only instant relief but also an immediate cure of irritating pimples.  The reason toothpaste is so effective in treating outbreaks of acne is because it contains high levels of peroxide.  Everyone is familiar with the notion that peroxide cleans out any kind of infection or bacteria and eliminates it from any presence on your skin.  Simply take toothpaste and apply it to the affected areas of skin.  Allow the toothpaste to set for at least 30 minutes and then wash the affected area with antibacterial soap.  You will see immediate treatment and the redness disappear.   Repeating this process 2-3 times a day will provide you with the relief of irritation and any reoccurring acne outbreaks.
